1. What Ubat.ca Is

Ubat.ca is a Canada-wide healthcare career, training, and student support information platform. We help students, newcomers, permanent residents, international students, Canadian citizens, career changers, schools, advertisers, immigrant-serving organizations, indigenous groups, federal, provincial, non-profit, private organizations and service providers explore healthcare careers, training options, funding resources, and career pathways in Canada.

Ubat.ca is an information and navigation platform. Ubat.ca is not a school, college, university, private training institution, government agency, regulator, immigration consultant, lawyer, healthcare provider, financial advisor, lender, employment agency, or licensing body.

2. Student-First Purpose

Ubat.ca is designed to help users understand healthcare career and training options more clearly. We may provide information about: Healthcare careers, Training programs, Program length, Tuition and estimated costs, Admission requirements, Funding options, Scholarships and bursaries, Career ladders, Wage ranges, Work settings, School and provider listings, Student support services, Immigration-related general information, and Employment and labor market information.

This information is for general education and career planning only. Users must verify important details directly with the proper school, regulator, government agency, employer, licensed professional, or service provider before applying, enrolling, paying money, sharing documents, or making decisions.

3. No Professional Advice

Ubat.ca does not provide professional advice. Nothing on Ubat.ca should be treated as: Legal advice, Immigration advice, Healthcare or medical advice, Financial advice, Tax advice, Employment advice, Student aid advice, Licensing advice, Regulatory advice, or a guarantee of admission, employment, income, funding, immigration status, permanent residency, practicum placement, licensing, registration, or career advancement.

Users should speak directly with the proper professional, school, regulator, employer, government office, or licensed advisor before making important decisions.

4. No Enrolment Commission Promise

Ubat.ca does not take enrolment commission from schools, colleges, training centers or universities for sending students to programs. This is part of our student first approach.

Ubat.ca may earn revenue from advertising, sponsored listings, school profiles, service provider profiles, banners, newsletters, videos, appointment tools, province sponsorships, category sponsorships, employer services, or other commercial services. Advertising does not control our student guidance.

A paid listing, sponsored placement, advertisement, or profile does not mean that Ubat.ca guarantees, endorses, approves, licenses, certifies, or recommends a school, program, service, employer, advertiser, or provider. Users should always compare options and verify details before making decisions.

5. Program, School, and Career Information

Ubat.ca may publish information about schools, programs, tuition, fees, start dates, program length, admission requirements, practicum requirements, refund rules, wages, funding, career demand, licensing, and job pathways. This information may change at any time. Schools, employers, regulators, government agencies, and service providers may update their rules, prices, requirements, schedules, policies, and approval status without notice.

Ubat.ca works to provide helpful information, but we do not guarantee that all information is complete, current, accurate, or suitable for every user. Users are responsible for confirming current details directly with the relevant school, regulator, government agency, employer, licensed professional, or service provider.

13. Intellectual Property

All Ubat.ca content, design, branding, page layouts, graphics, videos, downloads, tools, guides, articles, comparison formats, software, databases, logos, slogans, and platform materials are owned by Ubat.ca or its licensors unless stated otherwise.

Users may use Ubat.ca for personal education, career planning, and information purposes. Users may not copy, scrape, resell, republish, modify, distribute, or commercially exploit Ubat.ca content without written permission. Schools, advertisers, service providers, and partners may not use the Ubat.ca name, logo, screenshots, badges, rankings, platform tools, student resources, or endorsement language without written permission from Ubat.ca.

20. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ubat.ca, its owners, directors, officers, employees, contractors, suppliers, partners, and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, economic, or reputational damages. This includes loss of income, loss of opportunity, loss of enrolment, loss of employment, loss of immigration opportunity, loss of funding, loss of business, loss of data, student disputes, advertiser disputes, third-party service issues, or reliance on platform information.

Where liability cannot be fully excluded, Ubat.ca's total liability will be limited to the amount paid by the user to Ubat.ca in the three months before the claim, or $100, whichever is greater. Some laws may not allow certain limits. In those cases, the limits apply only to the maximum extent allowed by law.

12. Prohibited Use

  • Break the law or mislead students or users
  • Post false or harmful information, or harass, threaten, or abuse others
  • Scrape, copy, harvest, or resell platform data
  • Upload viruses, harmful code, or interfere with platform security
  • Violate copyright, trademark, privacy rights, or other intellectual property rights

10. User Accounts

Users may be able to create accounts, save programs, download tools, book appointments, receive alerts, or use personalized features. Users are responsible for keeping their account information accurate and secure. Users must not share login information, impersonate another person, misuse the platform, upload harmful code, scrape data, harvest information, attack the website, or use Ubat.ca for unlawful purposes.

Ubat.ca may suspend, limit, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms of Use or create risk for students, advertisers, partners, service providers, or the platform.

Termination & Contact

Ubat.ca may update these Terms of Use at any time. The updated version will be posted on Ubat.ca with a new "Last Updated" date. Continued use of Ubat.ca after changes are posted means the user accepts the updated Terms of Use.

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the applicable federal laws of Canada. Where legally permitted, disputes involving Ubat.ca will be handled in British Columbia.
